Information We Collect

Our web servers and edge providers automatically receive certain information from your device whenever you request a page on Infundcompass: IP address, request headers (including browser type and accepted languages), the resource requested, and the time of the request. Some of this is stored for a short period in access logs; the rest is processed in memory and discarded.

When you fill in a form on Infundcompass — newsletter signup, contact form, advertise inquiry, unsubscribe page, or any other interactive surface — we collect the information you choose to enter. That typically includes your email address, your message text, and any optional fields you complete. We do not require you to register an account to read the site.

How We Use Your Information

Infundcompass processes the information described above for clearly limited purposes: to deliver the content you request, to fulfill subscriptions or inquiries you initiate, to keep the service secure and operational, to understand aggregate site usage so we can make editorial decisions, and to meet legal or regulatory requirements where they apply. We do not engage in profile-based advertising sales of personal data.

Each of these vendors processes data on our behalf under written contractual terms that restrict use of the data to the services we contract for.

Advertising

When advertising appears on Infundcompass, it is generally served by an automated advertising network — currently Google AdSense — which uses cookies to count impressions, prevent fraud, and (where you have consented) personalize the ads shown. We never share your personally identifying information with advertisers. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time through your browser or your Google account.

Data Retention

Infundcompass's data-retention practices follow the principle of proportionality. We keep newsletter contacts only while the subscription is active (plus a suppression record after unsubscribe); we keep contact-form messages for up to two years; we keep server logs for up to 90 days; and we delete anything beyond those windows unless we have a specific legal reason to keep it longer.

Your Privacy Rights

Residents of California and the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and certain other jurisdictions have specific rights with respect to their personal information. These typically include rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, opt-out of sale or sharing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by the applicable law.

Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16, and we will delete any such information we discover. Parents and guardians who believe a child has submitted information to Infundcompass are encouraged to contact us so we can remove it promptly.

International Data Transfers

Some of the third-party processors we rely on are headquartered or operate servers in jurisdictions other than yours, including the United States and the European Union. Where such international transfers occur from jurisdictions that restrict them, we put in place appropriate safeguards — typically Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms — before any transfer takes place.
